Just got back from Philadelphia. I had very limited internet access while I was there, and what I did have I had to use for work, so don't be surprised if I comment on something from last week.
Philly was pretty fucking awesome. I had a really hard time getting used to people actually being polite to me, and to traffic signals actually meaning something. We ate at a few badass restaurants, the most notable of which was this tapas-ish place that has a whole page of different cheese selections, and all sorts of fancy-ass beer. I also got to spend some time wandering around the city taking pictures of interesting things. And here some of them are, below the cut...
This is an old Masonic Temple, which is all giant and badass and Moorish-looking.

Where's your god now? This is the most evil Santa Claus I've ever seen.
Some weird castle-looking thing on the inside of City Hall plaza.
Random building plus neat clouds.
For some reason this made me think of Monopoly.
(Insert Rocky reference here) While here, I saw at least 3 different people running up the stairs and/or waving their arms like retards.
Statue near the Rocky stairs. This chick is totally tweaking her nipple.
I have no idea what this is doing here.
They put the chocolate mice next to the chocolate human ears. I hope that was intentional.
Even Mennonite shopkeeps like John Vanderslice.
